The Right Reverend Peter Price Bishop of Bath and Wells
Over 400 years ago, a mighty flood devastated coastal populations from Devon down to the South Wales coast, killing around 2000 people. In some areas the populations have never recovered from social and economic disaster. Areas of the Somerset Levels were particularly badly affected. Professor Simon Haslett analyses this tsunami with documentary and fieldwork evidence and looks at the causes. Coffee provided by the Boules GroupWednesday 13th October

“Dear Producer, I wish to protest...”
By popular request, Christopher Lewis, former Executive Producer of the Antiques Roadshow, returns to entertain us, this time with a distillation of the many extraordinary letters and emails received by the BBC's flagship programme. Some are helpful, some angry, some funny, all sincerely meant. Mr. Lewis' original and humorous illustrated talk is often disrespectful to both the Roadshow and its experts.
